At AppScenic, we believe in complete transparency. As you know, we've eliminated transaction fees on your orders to help you maximize your profit margins, but there is still a processing fee when depositing money into your wallet.
A payment fee is required by our payment processor, Stripe, to cover transaction costs when you add funds to your wallet. This ensures that your deposits are securely processed and available for use in your account.
As you can see in the image above, when you deposit money in your Wallet on AppScenic, we will give you an estimated fee based on the currency you set.
Here’s an example of how we estimate the processing fee is calculated:
If the currency is GBP:
Wallet Fee = Deposit Funds * 1.53% + 20p
If the currency is EUR:
Wallet Fee = Deposit Funds * 2.62% + 20p
If the currency is USD:
Wallet Fee = Deposit Funds * 3.47% + 20p
Now, to find out exactly how much Stripe actually charged you, you need to go to your Store Wallet under Account and check your Transactions. There, as you can see below too, you will find out how much the Payment Processor Fee was under the column Transaction Type.
And that's what a Processing Fee is.
